My parents had this retarded-ass shouting match fight about stupid shit tonight.

So, what, is Jason going to get all emo? Boohoo, is the emocake going to cry?

No, fuck that. Emo people give up - I was busy thinking of solutions.

Eventually, I narrowed it down to two possible courses of action:

1) Tell them that if they don't shut the fuck up, I am going to kill the next person who says something with my knockoff steel MagLite flashlight.

2) Tell them that if they don't shut the fuck up, I'm going to kill them both with my knockoff steel MagLite.

My MagLite knockoff is great, I got it all ready and everything - it's 12 inches of steel with a partially rubberized grip, great as an improvised club.

Emocake my ass. I'm not emo, my problem is more likely to be a deeply ingrained inclination towards using violence to solve any and every problem stemming from a lifetime of playing video games where the solution to complex issues such as international poverty and political discourse is shooting people in the face and taking thier ammo.

So I've applied for five jobs at two Best Buy locations. I get a call from one of them, and it sounds like they want to interview me for a sales job. So I go down at the agreed upon time, BUT WAIT - the job isn't sales, it's mainly moving boxes and shit around!

Eh, that's alright too, I guess. If I get the job, apparently I can advance to sales in the future. I'm still a little blahed though - it sounded like it was a sales job over the phone.

The person who interviewed me said that they might call me back for a third interview, since apparently it's a three interview process: one online/on the phone, one with what would be your department manager, and one with what would be your store general manager.

Rawr. Monies monies monies...

Best Buy called, and a little interview was conducted over the phone. I think I did well, because I they told me to come around next Wednesday for an interview in person. If I get the job, apparently I'd work in the department that handles cell phones and mp3 players. I don't know too much about cell phones, but I think I could handle selling mp3 players.

I hope I get the job. I need monies...

I originally created this LJ account just to post comments on Dak's blog, but I guess I might as well post some things to it since I have it.

I feel like such an emo-faggot bitch for even doing this.

I got a call from Best Buy, where I applied for a job. It came in while I was hanging out at Dak's house, so my engrish speaking mum took it - I hope Best Buy doesn't think I'm a fob now. They said they'd call back today, and I'm really worried. Me and interviews tend to get along either really well, or really, really badly.

I want the Best Buy job though, I seriously think I could do a good job there. I need the regular pay, I have the knowledge they need, and I can deal with customers of both the good and bad variety well. I think if they give me the chance, I can do the job, and do it well.

I just need the chance. And the monies. That too.
